  1. Sugar free nestle breakfast drink is my friend! Mix with unsweetened silk milk. 13 grams of protein
  2. You would feel better if you could sit up always instead of lying down. Those first few days I drank from a medicine cup. Also use gas x
  3. That's kinda scary. Call your doctor immediately.
  4. I had my sleeve May 20th. I feel really good. My scales do not work but I know I lost 26 pounds on my preop diet. I am sore and get tired easy but yesterday was the first day I didn't get my fluids in so today I'm gonna be really good. I'm so excited to be on a weight loss tract that I think I can do!
  5. Had my sleeve don may 20th. I did exactly what the doctor said and I've been fine. No horror story here. Walk, walk, walk
  6. I was sleeved yesterday. It is really not bad. I didn't feel good while they were waking me but within half an hour to an hour I was in decent shape. A little sore today and still have a little gas. Walking and not lying flat in bed is the key. I was scared for nothing. Probably going to see a movie this evening.
  7. I love my office staff. If the surgeon is as good as they are I'm gonna ace this!
  8. I am being sleeved May 20th. I'm more than half way through my pre op diet and truthfully it hasn't been bad. I haven't lost as much weight as I thought I would though so I'm hoping I'm not going to be a slow loser the whole time. My pre op diet is not all liquid though.
  9. I'm scheduled for surgery May 20 and although I am super excited I am very scared! How did your first appointment go?
  10. Another great website is fatsecret.com. You can set your calorie count and it works like WW but you can hear it towards high protein
  11. I too am may 20! How's the pre op diet going?
  12. what is the little frozen protein snack called?
  13. I am in Georgia but doing my sleeve May 20 2015 in Dallas Tx
  14. Having my surgery on may 20th. On the Friday follow up how does the doctor check for leaks in the sleeve?
  15. I hope not to e one of those statistics. They really don't have us losing much weight for what we are doing and paying for. This really is a last option for me and I do not want to be overweight the last half of my life. So I love hearing how much everyone has lost.
  16. I don't know the issue after your sleeve procedure but potatoes and bread turn to sugar after they are ingested. Potatoes are a vegetable but should be eaten sparingly. I'm tryin not to eat bread at all for a while. Also I've heard bread was hard to digest after the procedure. I am not due to have the surgery until May 20 so I may be wrong but that's what I think.
  17. Please keep us updated. My surgery is scheduled for may 20, and I am very excited! It is nice to hear how it goes so I can be prepared for things.
  18. I am scheduled for May 18th and I am scared my insurance carrier will mess some stuff up too. I would hate to get there and it not happen. I'm nervous and just saying that is an understatement
  19. Wow, my husband smokes, but outside. I hope I don't have the same problem. I beg him to quit but he's just not gonna do it.
  20. I am so sorry for your trouble! I'll be praying. Do they give a reason for your trouble or is it just bad luck?
  21. I have a niece that just had gastric bypass and she looks and feels wonderful. On the other hand I have a cousin who is in her 60's that has gained some of the weight back but she also had lots of health issues by the time she was able to get the surgery. I decided I want to do this before I am to old or in too much pain to fully enjoy it. Another thing is my 11 year old daughter is very overweight and I hope this keeps me on track to help her.
