Can I have my surgery with that TOM?

Hello I scheduled my appointment, bought the tickets and now I noticed that I might get there with my menstrual period, will this affects my surgery? Please advise, I am going to ask my surgeon any way but wanted to know if someone else have that situation.

I got my period the day of surgery and I was fine. They still did the surgery and everything went well. No worries.
