Yes, the day after surgery my throat and upper chest (like the top of my cleavage) was sore. I think it was from the breathing tube. I forced myself to drink and eat ice. It did not go away completely

I am 25 hours post-op and am struggling with getting my liquids in. I've been sipping them out of a medicine cup and it hurts when I swallow. Did anyone else have this happen? I've only had about 4 oz. in the last 9 hours. I don't know what else to do. Is this normal?
