I bought those months before I was even enrolled in my current health insurance, not knowing if I would even be approved for surgery or not. I hated them. I tried one, and had to throw it out. I don't think I could even swallow it by holding my nose. I may try Isopure after surgery to get a little extra Protein in, but not those protein shots ever again.

liquid Protein shots. 42g of protein in only 3oz.

kathy

congrats

I used them the first week post-op when I was on Clear liquids. I poured half of one into my Vitamin Water Zero and it was fine taste wise. They have a mix of proteins: collagen Protein, whey protein isolate, and casein protein.

My doctor was fine with them, but as soon as I was on fuller liquids I started using Whey Protein Isolate powders... this is supposedly the most easily absorbed and used protein. I love the Syntrax Nectars, Fuzzy Navel and Cappuccino are my favorites.

I tried these but since I am sensitive to dairy the Casein protein affected me. They fruit punch flavor was sweet but not too bad but the blueberry one was awful. It is a good concentrated protein if your system can handle them. I was just sleeved on April 7.
