Good luck! You'll probably notice a big change in how you feel while eating, so take it easy as you transition from liquids, to soft foods, to real foods over the next couple of days! Remember all the band rules about eating slowly, taking small bites, and chewing well.

Well, remember, he/she saw how tight the band was around your stomach during surgery so they usually have an educated idea of how much is needed.

Wow, my first fill was only 2cc's and I still haven't noticed anything major yet. Next appointment is in four weeks. Congrats and take it slowly with your eating

My surgeon said she fills it 2cc in the OR "to prime the tubing and band". I have a 10cc band and she has very few patients over 5-6cc.
