Insurance trouble

I've been on my liquid diet two weeks about pretty much this whole month and now the drs Nurse calls says insurance price changed he said go back to Solids until further notice I'm like what!! Scheduled 22nd this month I can pay cash pay I told him which Evers cheaper I already had plans with both mine and my husbands jobs and care for me after and help with kids planned so they said they'll get back to me today has anyone experienced this ?

This doesn't make sense to me. The price changed....so forget it, and eat eat eat? Not sure the price changing would scare away an insurance co, because they are only going to pay what they are going to pay, whether the price changed or not.

That doesn't sound right or fair. If they had authorization then they should accept whatever that agree upon fee was. Something doesn't sound right. I would follow up with the insurance company.
