Energy????

When did you all's energy come back? Boy oh boy! My surgery was 3/30, I've lost 27 pounds but I'm drained!! Idk if its from lounging around the house eating Popsicles and watching the ID channel but I'm back at work now and I'm exhausted by noon.

A lot of people say within 6 weeks, some 4-5 months, and then others like me didn't really get it back for 10 months or more. I think it just depends on the individual. We'll hope yours comes back r

Took me about 4 weeks, but agree, the more you move the better you feel. I still need my 9 hrs sleep tho. That is the best thing so far from this surgery.... Sleep. I used to suffer sleepless nights all the time and at best got 6hrs. Now I get 9-10 hrs of beautiful sleep.

It took me like 2 weeks, but I was put on a ton of vitamins & some optional supplements-like amino acids etc.. then no longer needed certain meds that were making me tired for years.. I can't wait to see what happens in a year.

I also walked quite a bit starting at like a week out..in fact I'm getting ready to walk about 2 miles in a few minutes. I'm 3.5 weeks out now.

It took me about two months. Plus I was not getting enough protein. When my team helped me with the protein it made all the difference.

Thanks all. Today, I'm going to try drinking more protein!
