Standard federal bcbs, what was your final bill?

Final bill for STANDARD federal bcbs please. Also whether or not you were at a bcbs center of distinction. Thanks in advance

I was basic federal bcbs, I think 500 was my total out of pocket. The plan brochure is online and pretty much explains everything. Also, I called them at the 1-800 number and they were very helpful.

Standard is a completely different monster. It has a 15 percent co insurance. Thats the number even bcbs won't tell me, they say it's proprietary.

I am starting to think I'll have to wait till next year and switch to basic.

I was quoted a cost of 16,500 without insurance, if that helps! Also, if you call the surgeon they can give you the code for the procedure, which should allow bcbs to assist you. Good luck. Worth every penny insurance or not
