Welcome and good luck to you! When you start your liquid diet keep your eye on the prize. The first 3 days are the worst, on the 4th you get used to it. Just take it one day at a time.

If you need anything or have questions feel free to reach out.

Get ready to enjoy the rest of your life!

Wishing you the very best.

Surgery date of March 25 and going into day 3 of liquid preop. It's not bad, stay focused...I'm not going to say you won't feel deprived lol, you will BUT after day 2 I'm feeling much better!

@ mstee83 "fa sho" we got this..lol

I've been trying all these protein shakes the last two days. I don't want to buy a big container due to the fact ur taste buds change..

Have u found one that u like?

@ mesparkle83 indeed...its in the bag! My dr has me on a specific brand of protien shakes called Optifast. Its the only brand he authorized...of course because the office sells it...but they SUCK SOOOOO BAD!!! I can only manage to swallow the chocolate one in huge gulps. I also have bars and broth which is tolerable. I dont know if im more excited about surgery or the day i can stop drinking these shakes.

As for Protein shakes...i did like optimum nutrition gold standard frm GNC...i was also a big fan of Isopure.

Hope you find one you like...if so please share...i really have a hard time with these shakes.
