Hello, my name is Sparke..

My date is set for April 8th and I'm loaded with every emotion imaginable.

I start my liquid diet on the 25th of March n I'm excited. I'm afraid of failing so I need this support group to help me get through this process. Thanks for all you guys posts. It has helped tremendously.

@ mstee83 I've found one I like.. It's called premier protein but I can't drink it after surgery so I'm still looking. I ordered a few more sample packs and I'll start those tomorrow. How is your pre-op diet going?

@ meSparkle83 hey girl...glad you found one you liked...i will try that after surgery. So far the pre-op diet is going well...still choking down these shakes but the hunger and edge has gone. Its gotten better after day 4, just counting down. When do you start your pre-op?

Are u trying to put a pic up in the threads or for ur profile?

If u add a profile pic tap the box where the pic goes and ur profile should come up and u will see a small camera in the bottom of the profile box, u then add one from ur pics or take one

@ meSparkle83 awww thank you...you pic is very nice as well...my job had a potluck today and i almost had a melt down!! I wanted to cry so bad...it smelled so good. Im proud i ate my Jello cup and drank my Protein shake like it was the best meal in the world!! The struggle is real...and it continues

I am week and one day post op I am doing the puree phase for 8 wks and the full liquids, I haven't really got into the protein shakes but I did do it for 2 days I had to stop because I went a wk without having a bm n today I had my first one so now I can go back to the protein shakes but I think u would like this one tho because u can add what u want to it, I blend mine in a blender I add 2% milk strawberries and bananas

How did your surgery go? And how are doing with being a newly wls patient?

I am done ok I have some good days n I have some bad days sometime I feel like I want some pizza or other things that I am craving but then I think about the outcome I am trying to get to

Can I ask if your doc gave you a reason why you can't have Premier Protein after surgery? Mine is okay with the brands I've chosen but she said no chocolate or vanilla flavors immediately after surgery. I'm not sure why, but I ordered a variety of stuff because I get bored with Vanilla anyway and I don't much care for chocolate.

Isopure RTD (ready to drink) Alpine Punch and Coconut

Cellucor Red Velvet Cake Battery and S'Mores

Premier Protein Vanilla & strawberry

Quest protein in Vanilla & Strawberry

Syntrax nectar protein in Carribean Cooler

I have some Cellucor Molten Chocolate and Syntrax Nectar in Fuzzy Navel coming in the mail soon, hopefully they're good
