low profile mini port

Just kind of curious as to what a low profile mini port is. How is it different from other ports, and does it affect the weight loss in any way?

Thanks ahead of time for answering these questions.

I have a low profile port and love it. The only time I can feel it is when I lie down and push really hard on my port side. My fills are just as easy. I think they look similar they are just flatter.

I have the Inamed, lowprofile mini port too. I just love it. It doesn't stick out are anything and I didn't have that large of a belly so it shouldn't ever show. Mine is 9.75cm and hold's 4cc's of saline. I have 2.5 in mine right now and am very tight.
