Nexium for the next 3 months...

Hi,

My Dr. gave me a prescription for Nexium 40mg twice a day for 3 moths post op, any of you got that?

Yep, according to my surgeon, it's to keep acid to a minimum in order to allow your stomach to heal.

Two months of 20mg Omeprazole for me. :)

Same as Jenbaby was prescribed 20mg

I was on Nexium before surgery and am expected to continue it.

Right now I clip the end off and pour it in a bit of protein shake.

Hopefully soon I can go back to just swallowing it.

I'm on Pepcid for 3 months for the same reason.
