One month to surgery

Hi everyone! I've been a "lurker" for a couple months reading everything I can about the sleeve journey. This is my first "real" post. My surgery is scheduled for April 2nd and I'm both excited and terrified, all at the same time. I've been over weight my entire adult life, and most of my family is overweight and suffer from a variety of weight related health issues. I have sleep apnea, high blood pressure and have been doing what I refer to as the "pre-diabetes dance" for the last year or so with my rising and falling A1C. I am so excited for what lies ahead of me, and so encouraged by all the positive stories others have shared.

Thanks! I am roller coaster of emotion as I prepare to start my pre-surgery diet tomorrow. ????

I am exactly 1 month from my surgery today! I have 3 weeks till my pre-op liquid diet. It still seems far away somehow.

Dear Annie,

I've been a "lurker" too and as surgery date is fast approaching decided to get on board with the program. I feel exactly the same way and have read everything and anything there is out there- overloaded and overwhelmed now:). I wish you the best and will be looking forward to your posts...
