I'm scheduled for April 1! April fools Day? Yikes. Here's hoping my surgeon isn't a prankster and rearranges things so that my arm flies up every time I burp or something.

Good luck to all of you! I was sleeved almost one year ago on April 16, 2014. Best decision I ever made and easiest weight I've ever lost!!!! Good luck on your own journey! Xoxoxo

  • I'm done! Sleeved with a hernia repair (I had no indication that I needed one). Ever this is going well. Sips..check Broth....check, pain...mostly under control. Thank you Dr. Billing and all

I'm 3 weeks post-op and no matter what I eat/drink I get this funny metal like taste in my mouth. Has anyone else experienced this??

It's from not eating carbs, mine went away after a week.

Mango helps with constipation! You can also try stool colase & make sure you're drinking enough water. The protein powder & calcium/iron are very constipating. Hang in there:)

Stool softener**

Miralax or milk of magnesia. Also be sure to push to get your fluids in.

Had the sleeve on 4/8; I started the pre-op diet in February since my husband was having his surgery first. I lost 38 pounds on pre-op diet and last week broke the 50 pound mark! This is something I should have done years ago! So excited with the new me, new energy and ability to do things I haven't done in years.

Had surgery April 20th looking for friends.

Sleeved April 13. Five weeks out and feeling terrific. Everything gets better a week or two after surgery. Fellow ganders are here to help each other on this journey. Welcome to a new life!

Also, 4/20.

I had mine April 20, too. I can't believe how fast time is going by. I have my one month follow-up this week.

Are you going in on Tuesday?
