I'm scheduled for April 1! April fools Day? Yikes. Here's hoping my surgeon isn't a prankster and rearranges things so that my arm flies up every time I burp or something.

Good luck to all of you! I was sleeved almost one year ago on April 16, 2014. Best decision I ever made and easiest weight I've ever lost!!!! Good luck on your own journey! Xoxoxo

  • I'm done! Sleeved with a hernia repair (I had no indication that I needed one). Ever this is going well. Sips..check Broth....check, pain...mostly under control. Thank you Dr. Billing and all

April 6th. Finished all my pre-op appointments today. Starting my liquid diet on Monday. The nurse who did my pre-op lab work had the sleeve (same surgeon) in August, and she looked great. She really eased my mind about everything, and shared her first-hand experience. I'm ready!

Anyone from Massachusetts? If so, which hospital/surgeon?

Hello, I am scheduled for April 25th.. I am so excited and scared all at onetime.

I am! Going to Brigham and Womens. Dr. David Spector. He is incredible. Staff is outstanding....can't say enough about how positive the program has been. Message me if you want more info!

Anyone on the 27th? Anyone using Dr Jesus Lopez?

That's awesome! I was choosing between the Brigham (my mom works there) and emerson hospital. I ultimately chose emerson because of the program and I know a few people who have gone through it. So exciting! The program at the brigham was obviously very impressive and you know you are in such good hands there.

I am using Dr. Elias Ortiz in Tiuana, Mexico.. I live in Oklahoma and I just can't wait!

April 9th! Can't wait but also nervous about having surgery for the first time in my life (I'm 46)

I'm 46 as well! April 18 is my surgery date in Mexico. :)

I'm hoping to get the approval this coming week. Then...possibly April 13

everyone has a personal comfort level which is needed. I had friends go through BW so I know more from their experiences as you do from yours. They are the best referral sources!!!
