Day 1!

Its day one of post op from RNY surgery! Very uncomfortable but managing. Mostly the pressure from the air pumped into me during surgery. All looks good and can't wait to get home to begin my journey! Staying comfortable with meds. Up and sitting in chair sipping water 25ml every 30mins. Hope this gives some of you a glimpse of what to expect.

Congrats I just came home yesterday from RNY and that is my only problem in having is the gas pains. But once I was able to let go boy did I. Sip your water and take your protein it is so important in how fast you heal from this. Try to get dome rest and reach out to us. This is a excellent and motivating forum to be a part of. God bless you honey!

Hi Everyone, I just had my RNY on Feb 26th. Still very uncomfortable but manageable. Today was the first day I managed to get 2 premiere protein shakes down. Takes about an hour and a half. Seems like so much I'm only drinking water I between.
