Pain gone after weird feeling...is this normal?

So Ive Had pain in the right side where the stomac was taken out. I know its normal because of the muscle. It was getting better then felt worse the past couple days. Today I was bending to put my dogs leash on and fwlt the weird crunch feeling on that side a quick pain and now the pain is a lot less. What the heck is that about?

I haven't experienced that yet, but one of my friends who had this done told me that happened to her. I think it's a thing, like the 3 week stall. Happens to a lot of folks.

scar tissue builds up around all the incisions and that large one also has perm. stitches so it could have been that tissue was released from the pressure of bending over. I have small ball of scar tissue building under my large cut but surgeon addressed it a week out and said worse before better and movement helps break it up. hope this helps

Thanks that makes me feel better. I feel fine too and Ive eaten so I think Im good.

I had the same thing happen! Hallelujah, I wasn't crazy! At exactly week 4 (I had a terrible day the day prior) I was being careful getting ready in the morning then I bent down suddenly because I dropped my phone and then I heard like a snap or something with a slight pain and thought "oh great, another terrible day in store" but I ended up working a full day with zero pain... I don't know what it was other than it was a weird feeling and I hoped I didn't hurt myself too bad but it was a blessing. Since that day I've been pain free.
