Approved, but concerned BMI may drop below 40

I was approved on 2/9. My current BMI is 40.7. I'm concerned that with the liquid diet my BMI will drop below 40 and the insurance company not want to pay after surgery. I have a pre-op appt on Thursday and will ask then. Anyone have experience with this?

    From the first analysis, they looked at the pre-op diet loss as part of the process. My advocate was a big help easing my BMI fears.
