I found Smooth Move Tea at Walgreens on the same shelf as the miralax, ex-lax, etc, good luck!

I take collace and metamucil. One teas collace and two teas metamucil per doctor. My surgery was Dec 16. My nut said bran cereal also helps. It is definitely getting better.

What form does colace come powder pill ?

I suffer from severe constipation too! I had RNY 12/9/2013. Had my gallbladder out 11/24/2014, since then I can't go. I also get really bloated too! I've been taking Mirolax everyday for the past week it took 3 days before I went I bought some probiotics to try, my Dr. Suggested I try them to help.

My doc told me to use milk of magnesia. I've only used it once. I take dulcolace twice a day.

My Dr prescribed something called Senokot Plus Tablets I take 1 twice a day I also add 2 tablespoons Benefiber to 22oz of water with Lemonaid Crystal Lite and sip it all day It has worked great.

I take a Peri-Colace tablet every night before going to sleep with a cup of herbal tea. I am now regular as a clock but I was in so much pain the first month after surgery, I thought I was going to need surgery to be able to go. It was the worst part about my surgery.

Colace comes in a gel capsule.

My experience with any laxatives is a little complicated. SmoothMove tea, which I buy from the herbal tea section at Safeway, the big California grocery store, is my favorite. I buy the smooth move Peppermint. You can also get it at Amazon or GNC.

What I find is that no laxative works well if i do it all the time. So I find I have to mix it up somewhat. Constipation is my top complaint about this whole process.

I have been using a combination of prunes, SmoothMove and colace. I don't go every day. But since I still don't eat very much, it seems to work if I go two or three times a week.

Good luck.

Dr. Kellogg gave me a script for Senna, but I haven't used it yet. I am drinking tons of Water for now.
