Dry mouth

I am having my surgery in a week and very excited! I have been on a liquid diet for a few days now and find that my mouth is very dry- have been drinking Water. I am also have terrible gag reflex. Is this normal? How am I going to survive post surgery?

You will be fine trust me....Don't know about the dry mouth...I was on a day before liquid. Good luck and see you on the sleeved side!!!

Post-surgery, everything is VERY different. I will say that in the pre-op diet, it's common to develop halitosis as your body goes into ketosis and the ketones cause your breath to be bad and your mouth to be dry. This is only temporary.
