Good luck! It's painful, I'm going to tell you the true I do pretty well with pain, had my surgeries, from c section to gall bladder removal, tummy tuck and more but I never feel some of discomfort. Only on day 3 maybe that why.

@ home now. Trying to drink Protein and Water, feels weird. My back hurts a lot, maybe from the hospital bed. I feel tired but Dr. said it's normal. How do you guys drink enough?

HI foodfighter78!

I'm in pain too and find that If I slack on the tylenol it's not good. My doc has me taking children's liquid tylenol round the clock and oxycodone on top. I need both I have found out.

I'm having trouble with the liquid today. I only got in one Premier Protein shake and started another. I couldn't tell if my pain was being too full or just pain so I didn't push it. But, I'm supposed to drink 3 per day to get at least 75gms protein in. I was really tired and took a nap so that put me behind.

I'm trying to do 1 oz every 15 minutes but when I do the liquid tylenol I have to count that too because it takes me 1/2 hour to get that down. I just don't want to get dehydrated.

I had 2 c-sections and hysterectomy and a tummy tuck before too and this is some other kinda pain. But I know everyone is different. I also had hernia repair so????

Stick with it, you are not the only one struggling to get it in. Tomorrow's a new day!

Hollie it will be here before you know it, Good Luck and post some feedback as soon as you can. I love having a support group!

Hello everyone. how is everyone today? My sleeve was done March 4th. It wasn't easy at first the head hunger was real. But I'm past that now. Getting my water and protein in has been hard. But getting better. I'm down 26lbs. But i don't see a difference yet.

My surgery is today. I'll be leaving the house soon.

Hi guys,

I see many people here,

My surgery is Monday and I am really nervous but excited at the same time.

How are those who have had surgery?

Good bless.

(Sorry for my English, I tried to do my best!)

I had surgery on Monday 16 first 3 days I had lots of gas pain and discomfort but today I feel better , getting better . Be patience with yourself. Where are you from ?

What is everyone's secret to getting the Protein and Water in?

Do you just sip right from the premixed Protein Drink? (Premiere Protein)

How much at a time?

Water? How much at a time?

I had bypass on 3/16 and I have not been able to hit two shakes (60g) Protein drinks and only about 16 oz water. I'm constantly full and can't decide if I've pushed it too far or it is pain but I'm uncomfortable all day!

Same surgery day and I have the same problem. Today I drink 1oz of shake every 15 min, so I actually time my phone. Someone else in a post suggest that. And it works. For water didn't work. Even only 1 sip makes burp and feel very full. I wait 45 min between shake and water, I try camomile tea, warm, try cold water. But it's very uncomfortable.

Good morning everyone, I had RNY on 3/11. I'm shocked by the pain and discomfort I'm still experiencing 10 days later. I was having a hard time getting protein and water in as well. I saw in a previous post that genepro has 30g in each serving. Its spendy, I ordered it from Amazon. Its non flavored, no smell. I have been adding it to broth, its actually pretty good. As for water I'm managing about 48 oz a day.

I'm so close to stage 3, I never thought I'd be excited to have scrambled eggs :)

Finally 3 days post op and starting to feel human!

Tomorrow is one week post op for me and I'm still crazy bloated. I feel like there is a basketball in there I need to hold my left side when I walk.????

I have the back pains that someone else had mentioned although they were slightly alleviated by walking for a while today.

I am also not able to get all the protein and water down that they want us to have. 50g protein drinks & water broth Popsicles. We are to aim for 64 oz.

I'm not sure if I hurt it I'm full when I do drink them. I'm exhausted and not sleeping now.

Also have had a massive headache all day.

It is nice to seeing not the only one with these issues. ????

Dr actually wants me to come in tomorrow to ck me out which is comforting in a way. I know it will all pass but I wish it would go a Iot faster.

Thank you to everyone for sharing their stories it helps me to get thru. Good luck to everyone????????????
