Going to the bathroom

2 months post-0p. Just recently having such a hard time with being constipated. Anyone else experiencing this?

I had been all along - had to use colace every other day for a couple of weeks to get through the worst of it. I've found adding 2 fish oil tablets every morning helps considerably.

Good luck, that feels miserable!

I was very constipated for a few months I used a fibre supplement, however you need to drink a lot of water with it, good luck :-)

An apple ever day. And a good strong cup of coffee LOL. I know not all docs allow. Mine does though and a cup or two in the morning really helps.

I've found smooth move tea really great at those times I needed an extra "push" ????

And as others have said Water water water ????????????????????????????!!

Yup. Fiber and colace aren't helping. I'm going to call my doctor and ask for Amitiza.

I too have been struggling with this problem ever since I had surgery on 12/12/14. I too use the Smooth Move Tea. I love the taste, and its very soothing to my stomach, not to mention it truly helps with the constipation. I had it really bad for a couple of weeks, and I used Miralax every other day which really helped.

This is my huge issue too. I'm taking colace twice a day and thinking of moving to three times a day. Gets pretty miserable. I tried the smooth move tea and only had half a cup and was all night cramping so bad with no results. So sucked!
