Can someone tell me how to add someone as a friend, and how to add an avatar? ?

to add an avatar or picture go to the top of the page on the right click on your name and select my profile. Once opened click on the empty space where your picture should be. To add someone as a friend click on their name and when it opens their profile at the bottom of their profile is a link that says add me as a friend.

Simple.
