  • Hi Everyone. I apologize I have not been on. I had my surgery on Monday and had my IV's in for my liquids and pain meds. Day 2 was rough for me. I could not handle sips of water or oral pain meds. Eve

My daughter turns 21 tomorrow and up this point, it has been all about her. So, I decided 2015 was going to be all about ME! I'm scheduled for March 3, 2015!!!

I was also sleeved on March 2. I walk at least 30 mins everyday (more on the weekends). I try to get 80 grams of protein a day (some days I get a little more or a little less) and I typically get in approx 1000 to 1200 calories. I have lost a total of 70 pounds since January (30 pre op and 40 post op). I still have a lot to go but I feel great! Hope all you March Sleevers are feeling great too!

I'm paranoid about my kids being overweight. They eat mostly high protein.. Sometimes they have grain.. But not every day. Eggs are a great protein.. We normally have meat and veggie for dinner.

Have a protein shake.

I'm very paranoid about my 3 getting big, I don't let them have many sweets or anything with high fat content

Fats are good tho! Little ones need fats. :)

I don't know why.. But I dropped 8.8 pounds this past week! I was sure surprised!

@@Chrystee - good for you! Woo hoo!

Wishing all the March Sleevers a Happy and Wonderful Memorial Day Weekend... remember moderation and Protein first...

Thanks!

That's awesome Chrystee. Great work. I've been stalled for three weeks now. I can't wait for this to happen to me.

I'm sure I have a stall coming. I was up a pound the other day, but back down, after starting my period (yay, not).

Wonderful to hear everyone's success stories... all to often we get caught up on our stalls...

How's everyone doing? I'm not trying to brag, but I finally, finally.. after YEARS AND YEARS of trying to run.. was able to jog 3 MILES last night.

Great job!!

I'm doing good lost 41 so far :)

  • 3 weeks later...

My weight begins with a "2", yay!!! It's been probably 8 years since that has happened.

That's so awesome! I am so envious. I broke my right foot 3 weeks ago and am not allowed to put any weight on it. My progress has come to a screatching halt. I have three weeks to go before the cast comes off and I can drive to PT. You can't believe how much I miss cleaning house. Lol.
