  • Hi Everyone. I apologize I have not been on. I had my surgery on Monday and had my IV's in for my liquids and pain meds. Day 2 was rough for me. I could not handle sips of water or oral pain meds. Eve

I'm eating about 5-600 cal a day and I haven't lost anything in 10 days. It is soooo frustrating, but thanks to yall, I know I just need to be patient. Thank you for the support!

We all are stalled ugggh I'm still on liquids i start purees Monday and i really pray something changes FOR ALL OF US

I expected it but not this soon. I must be losing inches though because I now fit into a Misses XL! I even went to another store to make sure! Lol

@@Chrystee Awesome for you being a runner! Even more shocking, a NUT that hates exercise? Lol

I am majorly frustrated, not only did I stall but I went from 228 to 232 in 3 days. I am having major issues in getting in fluids. I don't want to drink. My doctor says just force it down. I am not a big drinker, getting in 30-40 oz a day is a struggle, much less the 50-60 she wants me to get in. She keeps threatening me with a PICC line and now she is saying she's going to delay my next stage of foods (soft mushy things). She also won't let me go to work so I feel very isolated at home alone all day. I am depressed and just want to curl in bed and sleep all day. I am not trying to be a difficult patient but I do not want to drink. I wish I could go back in time and change this. I know its for my health but I just want to go back to work and not be forced to drink more fluids.

First you are viewing your surgeon as the enemy. She's there to help you. If you're not getting enough fluids then she wants to supplement for your own health. Some people struggle in the beginning with fluids but it gets easier. You have to be willing to change for your own best life. I know in my preop, it was all about the fluids. Did you go through all that? Did you commit to doing it before surgery? It's all about change. Just sip constantly. Add Crystal Light or Mio so your water is flavored. Good luck.

Thank you, I've always been active! I know, right?

I agree.. you don't want to get dehydrated.. scary things can happen with dehydration and low calories.. just keep sippin!

Good update! Video suggestions: turn your phone to the side and turn off image stabilization when uploading. Lemme know what worked for you to help you "go" I'm having the same problem and milk of mag is a last resort!

I am 1 month out tomorrow. For the last few days I have been feeling weak, lethargic, even a little shaky. I'm not sure what's going on. Not to be TMI but I might be getting my cycle. I have PCOS so it's not predictable. My Nut put me on dense food this week with a calorie goal of up to 800-900. I'm not there yet, but I am getting my protein in. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks!

I've heard of that when you need to get your calories or liquids up. Are you doing any heavy working out? I know my back is hurting again this week and i miss my celebrex :(

No my surgeon said only walk until week six because any pulling could cause a hernia. My calorie were about 500 and my new goal is 800-900. I'm not quite there yet.

I felt that way also and just started mine. Definitely get your calories up. When I'm under 600 I don't feel great. You will probably go back to a regular cycle soon.

I've been doing 500 and am thinking i should be increasing mine.

Ill be a month on the 23rd and I've lost 25lbs I know it will slow down but I'm happy so far :)

I will also be one month on April 23 and I've lost 20 lbs. ????
