Hi I am new here

I have an appt on Tues with my dr to see if I qualify for the band. I am currently about 100lbs overweight. I used to go to this dr for years and he put me on weight loss pills which did nothing. I am hoping seeing me still overweight he will approve me for the surgery. I am looking forward to hearing everyones success stories.

If your doctor doesn't like lap band try

lap-band.com to find a doctor in your area .

It is the website for the company that makes the band.

That is how I found a surgeon the company recommended.

I hope your doctor does recommend you for the procedure, if not, l would see about finding a doctor in your area that does the band and attending one of his/her seminars. You would definitely qualify. Keep us posted.
