  1. I got my dr approval on Friday. I know he has to submit to my insurance co, at least that is what I think happens. How does the process normally work? I know my insurance covers it if approved by your dr and he said I am definitely a candidate as I have been at this weight for about 6 years now. I hope I don't have to wait months to get an answer if I can for sure get it. Anyone care to share how they got to the point of surgery and when you found out you could get it done?
  2. was your surgery? I have my dr appt on Tues and if I get the approval from him I am wondering how soon I would have the procedure done.
  3. I have an appt on Tues with my dr to see if I qualify for the band. I am currently about 100lbs overweight. I used to go to this dr for years and he put me on weight loss pills which did nothing. I am hoping seeing me still overweight he will approve me for the surgery. I am looking forward to hearing everyones success stories.
