Info needed....hungry after surgery

Hi all :)

I had surgery yesterday and I'm sore but doing well! I've been sticking to my clear fluids (broth, Jello, ice pops) but actually feel hungry :/ Is this just a passing phase? Please tell me this is normal-feeling like a freak right now...

Why would you not be hungry?

With the pre-op diet, than the post op eating one must go through....I'd be starving!!!

incidentally, as a lap band patient, my huger did not get under control until a few months and a few fills/adjustments later....

Will you be able to start your strained cream Soups soon? They did a good job of filling me up. I did not have a pre op diet . They just encouraged high Protein meals and Protein shakes.

I had surgery on the 28th and I had to try to separate HEAD hunger from REAL hunger. It has been seven days and I am still struggling with it. So my advice : drink some water (SLOWLY) and if in 20 minutes you are still hungry , go for it! Then call or email your nut for help.
