Sit-ups/Crunches

When can you start doing sit-ups/crunches? My surgery occurred on 12/29/2014. As part of my program I met with a exercise consultant. He gave me information regarding resistance training, but I do not remember anything about sit-ups or crunches. I did about 75 crunches yesterday.

I was online this morning doing some more research on exercise programs I can do. One website that was tied to a lap-band company said to get doctor approval before doing sit-ups because it could cause slipping?

Anyone else been told this?

I was told that I could start doing them as soon as I could tolerate it. I was doing REALLY well .... then I had gallbladder surgery. I'm just now getting back into the swing of my exercise routine again. :)

Great job on starting your plan for fitness though!
