I had the same symptoms, walk when your comfortable and take the gas-x it worked for me. Mine seemed to have subsided within a couple of days. My Op date was Jan 21! Btw nothing in my shoulders either

I had my surgery on 1/22. Pain meds have helped with everything except the pain in my chest...It comes and goes and when I start walking around, I get short of breath. Is this normal? Ive read several posts about gas in shoulder, but mine is stuck in my chest on the same side as my incisions and is painful!!!! Any suggestions as to how to eliminate it? Ive heard that gas x doesn't help because the gas is not in my stomach.
