I am sorry you are having a rough time :-( I hope it gets better soon for you!!!

It defiantly does get better! If we all stayed like that it would be a miserable WLS world and nobody would behaving it done...that's your proof. I know it sucks in the beginning but in a month you will not even think about this time. Hang in there!

It gets better. During the first weeks be very, very mindful of hydration, protein and supplements. You'll bounce back quicker, six months from now your body will thank you.

Be well.

Hi.

The first 2 weeks are the hardest after surgery. Just remember to drink, try to eat, and do alot of walking. You will have no energy, but that too will come back within 2 weeks.

I had my surgery 11/21/14 and I still do not eat alot. I have, maybe, 2 oz of food every 2 hours. It is okay though because I know I am eating correctly. I eat at 630a, 830, 1030, 1230, 230, 430, 630, 830p. I also do alot of walking and was just cleared to go to the gym.

Just sit back and enjoy the journey...it does get better. OHHH....it is okay to cry and have bad days, you will get through it

Ok thank you... All my family and friends who had wls tell me its the best decision they made and they have no regrets... But right now im miserable so i dont see it yet.. But im sure when im 100 lbs lighter i will start to realize it lol

I'm about where you are and I'm feeling better every day. But I am tired more or less all the time, bored silly, and sick of not being able to do everything I want. And really, REALLY looking forward to getting put on purees next week, woohoo!

Eyes on the prize!

Are you taking something for acid? Prilosec, omeprazole, etc.? It sounds like you really need it, or need more. Talk with your surgeon!
