Final Night...

This has been the longest week of my life! But finally my surgery date is TOMORROW! I am so excited!

I will only be missing one day of school if everything goes well and we have a 4 day weekend because of MLK Day on Monday so I'll have some time to recover.

My mother offered to drive me around to my classes until I feel better about driving and I don't have to go back to work for 2 weeks!

It's going to be a tough semester but it will be well worth it!

I was release last night and felt pretty good. Trying to get my liquids down which is a challenge but got about 30g of Protein in and 30oz of Water so far. Will do another Protein Drink later so I should be around 60g and hopefully 60oz of water

I was discharged today and while I do feel sore I'm not in any pain other than the gas pressure.

I am now doing puréed/soft foods(day 3 post op) but will wait until 6 or 7ish to eat, since I was finally able to have a thicker Soup for lunch(I was on Clear Liquids, no broth on my day after surgery)

I'm trying to focus on keeping hydrated and Protein.
