Ive been waiting since 12/23 to find out. After several mis-communications with BCBS ( who might I add is horrible! !!!), I finally was told today im approved!!!! Surgery is 2/24/15!!!! I start my diet nect Tuesday!

Finally after 1 month! I will be gettir my surgery date. Office manager was blown away byb the unprofessional attitude of the surgical scheduler! She said being as though I got denied by primary, secondars will not pre authorize. All I do is submit the eob from primary with claim and secondary pays the entire bill. Woooo hoooo! Always advocate for yourself. Never take no for an answer.

Spoke with my surgical dept. And she basically told me se has no clue whats going on. Im beyond irritated! Its been a month as of tomorrow since my paperwork. I cant believe their office is handleing my surgery this way. If it wasn't for the fact that I did everything thorough them, I would be switching to a new office. I have less then 2 weeks before im bk in school to finish my last semester as a graduate student. I was told I'd have my surgery well before then. Ahhhhhhh. Im ready to pull my hair out. I don't want to seem like a bitch but jeez.

Can you believe im stilk waiting too. Ive been calling my secondary everyday and my doctors have not reacehw out to them. I am on a tight deadline. Im calling my drs in a fee. Praying we get answers soon

Any news OP?? Bcbs Finally got my bbc.co info, and denied as planned. I am now waiting on secondary!

I have BCBS NJ. I Don't have any specific information for your state but I was required to do 6 months supervie diet, psych, pulmonary and gi clearance, as well as routine blood work and ekg. Im am waitw for approval now. I have 2 insurances so im wautingvon approval through the second. Bestb of luck!

I have horizon NJ as well. I saw Diane Palmer through kennedy in Stratford. I had no out of pocket expense. It was covered 100% Diane T. Palmer, MSN, Apn 856-566-6459 Just call and tell them you need a psych clearance. Shes very nice. Yiu may have to call a few times to get answer. Hope that helps

Yay for everyone's paper being sent. BCBS FINALLY got my paperwork friday. So now I wait for a denial so it can be sent to secondary. Then I get to wait all over again.

They told me it takes 24-48 hrs to upload into the system. All I need is the denial letter ????
