I was wondering the same thing?! I'm 15 days post op and drink normally. Probably have since 3 or 4 days post op. Good question, sine I worry that I've stretched something. (Lapband w/plication)

Right after surgery, your throat is very swollen. It makes it very hard to eat and swallow water. As time passes, this does get easier.

I also worry about the same thing. I am 1 month post op and can drink normal as well as eat normal, just smaller portions. I am even able to drink a little when eating. Have I already stretched my pouch?
