Scheduling soon

I am shooting for Duodenal Switch surgery in March and I was wondering how emotionally draining this process is going to be and basically what to expect

Dr. Webb recommend DS to me. When did you see him? I really hope he doesn't change it to a sleeve. Maybe he has someone else assisting him. I'm having a problem now with clearance from a pulmonary doctor. I hap a sleep study done two months ago and it wasn't a pulmonary doctor. Now Dr. Webb want me to find one that will clear me. This isn't good because I'm going to spend more money and he might make me do the sleep study all over again. This is so annoying

Patience. I saw him early last year and thought him super sweet. At a BMI of over 50, he told me to stay home and have a sleeve. Yea right!. I since then have met surgeons who've actually done a ds. I think he has less than 10 so far.

Hello, I just finished up all my requirements and it's been about 4 days since the dr office sent paperwork to insurance. I'm so anxious, does anyone know how long it really takes to schedule you for surgery after approval comes back?

I met Dr. Webb. Good luck, let us know how it goes. Remember to get a copy of your op report.

I met a man a couple of weeks ago at one of the monthly discussion groups and he said Dr. Webb did a DS on him and so far he has lost 170 lbs. when I go for my pre op on the 23rd I will make sure all my paper work is right and I'm having the procedure that I wanted. I will keep you up to date with my progress.
