  • I'm 3 mths can eat as tolerated, but I probably won't be doing breads and crackers until I hit maintenance. I don't want the empty carbs.

  • My Dr suggested 6 weeks. I was ready around 5 weeks.

  • I have to go back and check my notes, but I'm pretty sure my surgeon's plan says no bread or crackers for six months, as it forms a gummy paste in your stomach, which is very hard to digest.

I had occasional pita bites starting around 3 months, but didn't add in any other kind of bread until I was at goal. Now I eat bread, cereal and/or baked goods a few times/month.

I have to go back and check my notes, but I'm pretty sure my surgeon's plan says no bread or crackers for six months, as it forms a gummy paste in your stomach, which is very hard to digest.

I was ok'ed to have half a slice if wheat toast on the soft food stage (in at 6 weeks)

I added crAckers and cheese at wk 5. However toast sti isn't on my list. I can try tortillas but they don't work in my sleeve so I leave them out. I was so excited to have crackers! It was the texture! Just watch the portions and slowly add them back. Hugs of support
