First day failure or common?

so today was my first day post app with diet. not sure if I have failed or if this is common was only able to get 30 grams of proteinstill have not had any gas to pass so that's keeping me full or bloated ratherthus making it hard to put anything else in my systemany suggestion advice would really help. I keep a bottle of water in the bed with me so when I wake during the night I sip.

Perfectly normal! Walk, walk, walk and you will get rid of the gas and feel better.

  • It took me a good week to build up to getting in all my protein and water.

Don't worry about the protein, yet. My surgeon has me starting protein only at 7 days post op. The first 6 days is just liquid diet. Focus on hydrating and healing. And walk, walk......
