Polycystic Ovaries

I have PCOS from steroid use (I am a severe asthmatic). Steroids saved my life and made it so I can breathe but gave me a lot of other problems. I haven't remembered to ask but since this surgery (RNY) resets the metabolism, does that mean my ovaries could heal? Anyone have experience with that?

    Not sure but I had a period a month after surgery and I had not had one in over 2 years. Things do change!
