Hi, I'm just wondering if it's normal for a part of your stomach to feel numb after surgery. I'm 1 month post op

I've got some numb spots now - and still have some from a surgery I had like 14 years ago! Some of it might clear up, some might not.

Yes it is normal ..i know because i told my surgeon on my first post-op appontment and he told me that happens to some people. It might go away or it may not ,,but its harmless...Good Luck !

i can't recall from when I had my gall bladder removed laparoscopically in 2000 but when I had a C Section in 2006, yes I felt numbness for quite some time afterwards, even after healing. Today, however, I don't feel any.
