Pain at lower right incision
Sleeved on 12/18. Don't even have a lower right incision. most are left of midline. They didn't cause me much pain or soreness . Had gall bladder removed laparoscopically years ago and I remember that surgery post op being very painful.

Wow! You folks are amazing. I can't wait to get to soft/puréed. What blog?- Pureed Foods
I'm envious as well!- I'm hungry... Help!
Thanks BLERDgirl, I'm sure you're right about it being a Pavlovian response. I'm now trying to figure out my other cravings.- My VSG is on 12/17 anyone around the same date?
I think it's so interesting how we all have different post op requirements. I was told to drink the protein in 3 meal per day increments to achieve 60g. Then consume 64 additional oz of liquid for the hydration. I can't imagine how that s possible without stretching the sleeve and without pain.- Newly sleeved
A body pillow used during pregnancy is great but without one, try sleeping on your side and using a pillow tucked tightly behind your back. It allows you to lean back on the pillow, taking pressure off your midsection all the way around including your back. It feels amazing. Adding the pillow between your legs is also a comfy addition to the support. Again, the body pillow allows for all of that at once.- Things people don't seem to talk about...
I'm hungrier than before the surgery. I want anything, cucumbers,,cheese, juice from an orange, ANYTHING!!- I'm hungry... Help!
I'm with you Shannon. I was sleeved 12/18. I'm hungry too. I want everything I see as well. I went to the movies today with my family. I wanted nachos so bad and I didn't even see them.- My VSG is on 12/17 anyone around the same date?
Day 2 post op. Will be released tomorrow if I tolerate shake. Can't believe I'm only a little sore. Had a tubal at the same time. With my gall bladder removed laparoscopically, 10 years ago, I was in soooo much pain.- December 18th 2014 Surgery Date
Day 2 post op. How's everyone doing???- December 18th!
This is first day I've been nervous about tomorrow. ????- My VSG is on 12/17 anyone around the same date?
I'm so nervous about tomorrow. I haven't been nervous until today! I'm having a tubal ligation at the same time but that's not why I'm nervous.- Stressed!
I wouldn't worry unless you have a history of GI problems. I was under anesthesia and completely asleep. Then next thing I know, I was being awaken, thinking 'wow, that was quick.' Turns out, I started coughing during the procedure (which makes sense to me) and wouldn't stop so they couldn't complete it. I don't remember coughing so I'm sure I was completely out. They said it's very rare that that happens, but they ended up doing a barium esophagram in place of it. Not even a smidge of reflux was detected. I had my gallbladder removed laparoscopically years ago and had a breathing tube placed with no problems. I hope I don't have any issues with that this time as well. I'm sure you'll be fine.- defrost magic~
Wow, Thanks for sharing this!- My VSG is on 12/17 anyone around the same date?

Where is everyone? Having surgery Dec., 18, 2014. Some of us would still love some support, advice, etc.- My stomach is numb
i can't recall from when I had my gall bladder removed laparoscopically in 2000 but when I had a C Section in 2006, yes I felt numbness for quite some time afterwards, even after healing. Today, however, I don't feel any.- Weight Loss Surgery Gift List
