I did and they took them out at the appointment. They are a pain in the butt! I wish I never had them but oh well...

My last surgery, the staples were removed at about 2 weeks. For the sleeve, they glued me together!

Red, swollen and irritated equals overdue removal. As long as they get removed tomorrow, everything should be fine.

They just used tape on me. Worked great!

I only have tape too. They haven't fell off yet. I'm 6 days post op.

I rubbed vitamin e oil on mine to keep them soft.

After having the sleeve when they "staple" you, ya'll are talking about the outside incisions correct? I was not given staples, I had stitches and what is weird is I had desolvable ones. Is that normal or is it more normal to have staples?

For me They used absorbable sutures internally to close the muscle layer and then glue to close the skin. Tape to close the drain hole. I don't think there's a "normal", just surgeon's preference. Staples are faster to put in than stitches.

I had mine out yesterday - 3 weeks post op - very red and sore. Still sore now, but healing.

they were a pain in the but, but way better than having a drain! Did that for my lumpectomy - awful!

I was glued shut lol

I never had staples :-(

They just super glued me and put tape on top lol
