Can I really be hungry post op day 5

I think I'm going crazy, I really want to eat but I am sticking with my post op diet religiously. But somehow I feel like I can eat more than jello, broths, and liquid.... Is it me or am I going through withdrawal.... Please help ????

  • It's you! Lol! No I don't know if it is or not but maybe try to increase your water when you feel hungry? Stick with it, it gets better!

I was the same, I was sitting in the hospital room post op salivating over ads on TV for Burger King or Dominos. I still do (I'm 3 wks post op) but now I've a bit more variety in my diet so it's easier

Glad to know that I'm not alone sometimes I feel such high anxiety thinking to myself I'm already a failure
