Hi Nurse Ison....I'm having sleeve surgery in Tijuana on Thursday. I'm having it with Dr. Curiel at Clinica San Juan.

I went through Medical Tourism LLC for the price of $3950. I'll let you know how it goes! I'm nervous, but at the point of no return!

Good luck! Please let us know how it goes. I'm excited for you.

I just looked up the Medical Tourism website. I didn't even know those kinds of companies existed. Thank you for the info.

What dr are you using. My sister is using dr. Lopez who I believe uses them and his own company Specialized Bariatrics. We did a lot of research before we decided on a dr. When she initially was going thru MBC she found that they were rude and seemed to be more about the money. Dr Lopez and his team had a lot of rave reviews. She likes SB and they are very thorough. Let me know if I can be of further help. Good luck!

I did a lot of research on lots of docs. I'm an R.N. a most important aspect is the experience of the surgeon. Also, I wanted to be in a center or hospital that is JCI accredited. That means that that center achieved high standards of care. I am being evaluated by OCC and Dr Ariel Ortiz at OCC. For a sleeve. Dr Corvala at Angeles hospital is very good as well. Good luck
