Yes dr Ortiz and Obesity control center are awsome. I'm an RN and lots of research before my sleeve in may. JCI ACCREDITED. Center of excellence. 54 lb gone. No regrets. No issues. He's the best

My experience was much like yours. Dr Ariel Ortiz is a great surgeon. I've lost 52 lb since sleeved 5/21. 204 to 148

I was sleeved may of this year. 50 lb gone. I can't say anything negative about OCC dr Ortiz is an excellent surgeon. No issues whatsoever. The Marriott is a great place to recover as well

I was sleeved 5/21. By dr Ariel Ortiz. Wonderful facility. The visiting hrs didn't bother me or my husband. We both need rest. Absolutely no issues. I'm an RN and did lots of research. No problems with payment. Cashiers check no problems

I agree 100% with the other comment. I haven't gone to my pcp after surgery because I'm only 5 weeks out. They recommend labs in 7 to 8 months. I do t anticipate an issue. People have negative impressions of Mexico. When they don't even have the whole story. Dr Ariel Ortiz at OCC is wonderful. Can't say anything negative about the facility. I've heard good things about your Dr as well. My husband became more supportive after I explained the health aspects . Less knee pain, feeling better. Improved cholesterol, more energy. If u have blood pressure or diabetes it will improve.

Never us did I feel worried. Relatively very safe procedure. I went to DR ARIEL ORTIZ at OCC. Top notch. I did a lot of research as an R.N. the facility is JCI accredited which is very important when choosing a facility I was sleeved May 21st. Absolutely no issues

On my 2 wk liquid diet, I'm allowed 4 to 6 cups of green leafy vegetables plus 3 to 4 protein shakes. I chose Jay Robb as it is low in carbs and sugar and no artificial ingredients I can also have sugar free popsicles and jello. My understanding is that the pre op diet helps to shrink your liver so it is not in the way when surgery is done. Either way it's not a bad idea to do it as it gets you in the mindset of drinking shakes and smaller portions Sent from my SM-J727V using BariatricPal mobile app

Wow. How much weight did u lose before the pre op diet. I'm 203 and they want me 196 for surgery. I'm not going till end of may
