Hi, I am traveling to Tijuana, MExico for my surgery. I am super worried. I am looking into getting medical tourism insurance to cover any complications once I get back. As of right now I am scheduled with Dr. Maytorena.... Does anyone have advice? Reviews? Please help. I read horror stories of complocations and I cannot find much on DR.Maytorena except the reviews on real self.

Hi Guys! Can any of you share your experience from getting sleeved at a lower weight? My Surgery is May4th and I am nervous and am wondering if I will even lose. Can someone please tell me their experience? How were their losses? How long did it take to lose? Where are you now?

Hi guys!!! Any of you here that used tricare prime for gastric surgery???? I am wanting the sleeve. I told my doctor I wanted a referral to see a surgeon. She said she is putting one in for me. I see the status says "pending" can someone tell me their experience? Is this an authorization JUST TO SEE him? and then I meet with the surgeon and THEY send in approval for surgery???? What comes first? Approval for surgery or surgeons requirements?? I am soooo confused because my PCM did not say much. I am seen off base but I am still prime. My clinic was full. Also, how long did it take from the original consult to surgery date for you guys?
