stomach making noise

I had my surgery 11/11/14 about 4 days ago now. I have noticed every once in a while I can hear my stomach growling, bubbling, making all kinds of noises is that normal? It's pretty loud.

  • Oh yeah. Mine can be loud and most inopportune at times. I've gotten used to it. It's not daily though. Still not sure what, if any, pattern there is.

I'm 4 years post op and from time to time it does it and nothing is wrong.

I also recognize that when you get used to consuming a lot more calories and then cut back dramatically my stomach growls and makes crazy noises. I try and ignore it

I get a gurgle and growl very frequently. NORMAL!!

Yeah ... get used to it. Also, be prepared to pass a lot of gas. Oh .. and the burping. be prepared for that as well. This is ... interesting to say the least. :)
