I had gastric sleeve on October 8 and in my last week of puree food. The first couple of weeks after surgery I was having a lot of cravings for food that I never used to eat on a regular basis, like hamburgers, KFC, Tacos and fast food in general. Lucky this has subsided considerably and now I do not think about it.
I cook most of my food and I rarely eat meat. I try to make my food fresh and nutritious. Lately it's been quite difficult for me to eat more than a couple of bites. I get full very fast and I threw up few times just after several bites. I make sure to eat slow and I am really unable to overeat but it's been happening more often. Monday I see the doctor for my second appointment.
I have also had a very hard time drinking Water, the taste make me nauseous and want to vomit. I tried adding flavors but it got worse. Taking Vitamin has been quite challenging as well, I am having hard time with that. I tried several brands, liquid, gummy bears etc etc and I do not know what to do.
Any suggestions and advise out there? I trust that things will get better. I should be on a normal diet next week and really worried about that.
