Chest and back pain

Hello I am having pains around my breast bone and back. Pain goes away with my pain meds and I don't have any fever or nausea/vomiting. Anyone have this issue. I am now 8 days post op. Also I haven't pooped since my surgery.

Well no one has responded to my thread, but I though I would let you know the pain I was experiencing was from a blood clot I developed after surgery. Go figure I am the 1%. Was in the hospital for an additional week and now I have to take blood thinners which restricts my diet even further. This sucks. This surgery was supposed to help me become healthier but now I have more medical problems.

I am still pre-op. I am so sorry! very scary but glad you got the care you needed!

Oh sorry to hear that! I am at the moment disappointed too but mainly because my stomach hurts more today .. ten days in.. than it did on day 6, when i felt great! I am sure that things will work out for you. But it is tough when you have setbacks. I am glad you are OK now.
