Thanksgiving meal plan ideas please

Hi. I have my surgery tomorrow morning. Thanksgiving day will put me 3 weeks post op, which should be somewhere between pureed to soft foods. Any suggestions for my Thanksgiving feast? What foods should be OK to taste at that point? Ty

Well, of course you could pretty much puree some turkey and potatoes together :) If you want to have some potatoes, add some protein powder to them. Sweet potatoes, even some pureed green bean casserole would be good. You actually have some good protein choices with a Thanksgiving meal ;) Stay away from the pies and stuffing and worry about your protein.

I will be just getting to the pureed stage the week of Thanksgiving. I just cannot eat any meat that has been pureed. I plan on adding Protein powder to my mashed potatoes and saving some turkey for the following week when I'll be on soft foods.
