Mood and Pain

Surgery Halloween. My mood sucks and I still have tons of gas pain. I have been doing everything I am suppose to do and can't seem to get going.

Sigh...

You are only 3 days out. Give yourself a break. You'll get there. :)

be gentle with yourself, allow yourself to heal. Congrats on your surgery and welcome to the "other side"!

Hey, hang in there it really does get better. I still have some pain in my left shoulder joint (from how I was positioned on the table) but it will heal.

I really didn't start to feel "normal" until about the fourth day out (which was Saturday). Yesterday, much better! In fact, my husband said he could tell a major difference in how I felt by how I looked yesterday. Today was a world of difference from yesterday.

Patience and rest is about all you can do at this time.

Hope you are feeling better soon!

And.... Drink water- sip constantly, and walk walk walk! :-)

It will take a few days but it will get better. I was miserable for about 5 days and then, overnight, I suddenly felt much better. Hang in there!
